Bonding

We learn about bonding through touch, touching baby gently, making small movements with legs and arms.  Cuddles and kisses are always on hand!

We encourage bonding through eye to eye contact and facial communication.  From smiling at baby to mirroring babies expressions, even the simpliest of activities can become fun in a class environment!

We enjoy gentle exercises to promote development.  We play games while enjoying tummy time, sitting up, standing, cruising - all activities are tailored to your little ones' age and ability.

We enjoy Treasure Basket time - using everyday items in a class environment such as whisks, dog toys, pegs, silver balls - things babies would normally not be allowed to play with.  However in class all of the objects are clean and unused and we encourage little ones to choose which items they like best and touch them, taste them, play and share with them.

Our Classes

Our classes are fun and jam packed full of activities for babies!

We start the class by singing "Hello" to all of our babies.  We then get everyone involved by singing well known songs.  The louder the better!  It doesn;t matter if you can't sing - its enjoying it that matters.

We bring out the musical instruments and encourage babies to shake and bang.  We even have small light instruments for very little hands.

We sing travelling songs and enjoy in a bit of Baby Hokey Cokey, followed by Ring-a-Roses and the Grand Old Duke of York.  Even the smallest babies like the singing and swinging.

Our multi sensory play can range from playing with bubbles, to playing with shiny fabrics and huge reflective balls.  No two classes are the same.

We will bring out the treasure basket for babies to explore.  Little ones are free to choose what they like, to share and play with each other.

We then read our class book - sometimes low key cuddling books perfect for winding down, or sometimes HUGE pop up books with bright funny faces for little ones to enjoy.

We sing out "Goodbye" song, but its not the end of our time together as we all have a drink while our little ones play (or sometimes fall to sleep!) and have a chat and socialise with each other.

At the end you'll wonder how we managed to fit everything in to an hour long class and wonder how you'll spend the next few hours while a very tired baby has a long, long nap!
