Hi, I’m your local Hullabaloo Kids Tutor.along with my daughter Lauren who is 11 months old. I have always been facinated by Sign Language. When I had Lauren I couldn't wait to start signing with her. I started teaching Lauren signs when she was three months old and I was absolutely amazed. I couldn't believe how early she responded to my signs. At first just with a smile and then before long her hands were making all sorts of shapes in an attempt to communicate with me. At 6 months I could clearly see how signing was promoting Lauren's development, she was interested in everything that I had signed such as trees, clock, flowers and light. She was already able to identify objects at this early age. Now at eleven months, Lauren can tell me when she wants milk, when she's had enough dinner, when she's ready to get out the bath, when she's lost something, when she wants me to read a book, when she wants more food or more playtime and when she's hurt herself - all by using signs.
I have found signing with Lauren so rewarding. Through our Baby Play and Sign classes I would like to share with you valuable signs for communicating with your baby long before they can talk as well as tips to help you incorporate signing into your daily routine.
