ALPHA BABIES

Alpha Babies is an entertaining, educational programme for children aged 1 to 3 years old that is designed to stimulate language development in both written and spoken form promoting creativity and cognitive learning.

Using a structured class programme Alpha Babies develops the fine motor and gross motor skills needed for pre-school and school education. Weekly activities in class are followed up by activities at home so learning is constantly reinforced and consolidated.

Alpha Babies has been carefully designed to inspire young children helping them to develop their self confidence, observation skills, imagination, coordination and the art of communication through fun filled activities and music.

JITTABUGSTM PRE-SCHOOL MOVE & GROOVE

Classes in Movement, Drama, Singing & Music for 2-6yrs.

Jittabugs uses music to enhance the learning in these programs and had their own themed Jittabugs Cd's.

Here at Jittabugs we love to move and groove, jump and slide, pretend and play, sing and glide. Jiggle and a wiggle, a tip, tap, toe. Join the boogie woogie, Give it a go.'

Jittabugs works in line with the Early years Foundation Stage, so not only are picture these classes fun but they are educational too and we work on themes each week. This is very important for child development, personal, social and emotional, communication, physical development, hand eye co-ordination, creative development and many more.

Themes include The seasons, Bonfire night, Chinese New Year, Christmas, Dinosaurs, Easter, Mother's day, Valentines Day, Fairies and Goblins, Emotions and many, many more.

Early learning is the key to your child’s future and activities make the greatest difference at this stage, children learn through play.

Children are active learners, Tell me and I'll forget, Show me and I'll remember, Let me do it and I'll understand!

Our Classes FOR ALPHA BABIES

Each class has been designed to:

Cater for the different learning styles: visual (seeing), aural (hearing), and kinasthetic (doing) by including a wide variety of activities and resources.

Develop attention span: none of the slots last more than 10 minutes.

Develop the childs concentration: quiet activities are interspersed with more boisterous activities.

Our Classes FOR JITTABUGS TM PRE-SCHOOL MOVE & GROOVE

Classes are designed for children aged between two and six years old. This program has been devised in 2007 by a fully qualified theatre arts instructor with many years experience working with the age 2-6yrs age group in a nursery and theatre school setting.

This program captures all the senses of a child from taste, sight, sound, kinaesthetic, touch & smell.

Every class will start with a warm up, we will work on spatial awareness, up and down, side to side, moving and stopping, team work, partner work and solo work, co-ordination and balance. Mime, acting, singing, dance, drama games, lets pretend, stories and much more then a calm down at the end.

Each lesson works on a different theme ranging from cultural celebrations, colours, numbers, alphabet, jungle, outer space and much much more.

AIMS

Jittabugs aims to provide quality classes in movement, drama and singing for children aged between 2 and 6 years.

The children work in age groups to ensure they reach their potential in the classes. Tutors aim to make these classes educational but above all FUN! The classes will aim to develop confidence, communication skills, encourage creativity, teamwork and the use of imagination and develop poise.

DISCIPLINE

Disciplined behaviour is important in all walks of life so Jittabugs educates children in self discipline in an environment of obedience combined with FUN!
